From the moment you arrive at the West Point Military Academy, you can feel the military history. The Thayer Hotel sits on a hilltop with amazing views of the Hudson River. The Historic Thayer Hotel at West Point is more than just a venue; it’s a national treasure. This iconic location was the perfect setting for the memorable wedding of 2nd Lieutenant Tyler and his beautiful bride, Juliana.
Honoring Our Heroes
It was an absolute honor to serve one of our nation’s military on his special day. Tyler, a 2nd Lieutenant graduate, exemplifies dedication and service, and we extend our deepest gratitude for his commitment to our country. The pride and respect for the military heritage were evident throughout the evening, starting with the grand cocktail hour in the General Ulysses Grant Ballroom.
Cocktail Hour, Dinner, and Speeches
The cocktail hour was held in the General Ulysses Grant Ballroom which is beautifully decorated with military flags. Following the cocktail hour, guests moved to the General Omar Bradley Room for dinner. Here, the Maid of Honor, Best Man, and Bride’s brother Anthony, delivered heartfelt speeches, sharing funny stories and celebrating the love and journey of Tyler and Juliana. Due to the main sound system being set up in the General Ulysses Grant Ballroom for later festivities, we brought in a separate sound system and microphone to ensure the speeches were heard by all.
A Night of Celebration and Dancing
After a delicious dinner, everyone moved back to the General Ulysses Grant Ballroom, where the real party began! We brought sound and lighting to create an energetic atmosphere on the dance floor. It was truly a night to remember. The groom and his groomsmen looked sharp in their military uniforms, adding a nice touch to the celebration. It was heartwarming to see Juliana and Tyler surrounded by family and friends, dancing the night away.
To add even more fun, we set up a photo booth, which was a big hit with the guests. It captured countless smiles and silly moments, adding to the night’s joyful memories.
