Last night, I had the pleasure of DJing a wedding at the beautiful Candlewood Inn in Brookfield, Connecticut for a super-fun couple Courtney and Joseph. Nestled on the shores of Candlewood Lake, this exclusive venue offers stunning water views and a picturesque setting for any special event.
The weather was absolutely perfect, creating an amazing backdrop for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and party. The ceremony took place on the lawn outside, where all the chairs were set up overlooking the lake. We provided sound and music for the ceremony, and Pastor Mike did a fantastic job officiating.
After the ceremony, guests moved inside for the cocktail hour. Courtney had carefully selected all the songs, which created a fun and lively atmosphere, getting everyone in the mood to celebrate. Once the cocktail hour was over, we introduced the bridal party and kicked off the festivities.
Courtney and Joe had 24 of their closest friends and family in their bridal party, making the introductions lively and exciting!! The bride and groom shared a beautiful first dance as the sun set over the lake, creating a magical moment inside the ballroom.
Dinner, provided by Candlewood Inn, was delicious as always, thanks to Christian, a longtime friend of mine and GM of The Candlewood Inn, and his team! They always treat us so well.
Following dinner, Courtney and Joe danced with their parents, cut their wedding cake, and then the real party began. The couple even made an appearance on the drums, adding a personal and fun touch to the evening.
Courtney and Joe were on the dance floor all night, and their energy was contagious. When the bride and groom are having a great time, it sets the tone for the whole party, and all the guests were up and dancing as well.
