In our last post, I shared the story of Stefanie and Rob’s beautiful beach wedding in Beach Haven, New Jersey. Today, I’m excited to give you a behind-the-scenes look at what goes into making such a special event happen. This follow-up post features a video that I shot throughout the day, showcasing “a day in the life of a wedding entertainer.”
While the video spotlights the day of the event, there’s much more that goes into producing a wedding. Hours of preparation are needed to plan the logistics of each event, from organizing travel and setting up equipment to ensuring everything runs smoothly. Music preparation is crucial, and I spend a lot of time discussing music preferences with the couple, curating playlists, and making sure every song is just right.
Additionally, there’s the rental and return of equipment when necessary, like the generator we used for Stefanie and Rob’s beach ceremony. Communication with clients and vendors is also key; countless phone calls and meetings with the couple, caterers, and other vendors ensure everyone is on the same page. Setting up and breaking down all the equipment is a big job, and keeping all our gear in top condition through regular maintenance is essential.
We do all this because we love what we do, and I hope that comes through in the video. It’s not just about the wedding day; it’s about all the effort and passion that goes into making each event unique and memorable.
Check out the video below to see a glimpse of what it takes to create a magical wedding day from start to finish.
