First things first, let me tell you how stoked I was when JoAnn and Sal, the awesome owners of The Water’s Edge, asked me to DJ their New Year’s Eve bash. I’ve known them for years, and let me tell you, it was a true honor to be part of their annual celebration.
For those of you who haven’t had the pleasure of visiting The Water’s Edge, let me paint you a picture. This place is the epitome of class and elegance, known for its mouthwatering steaks and stunning ballroom, where dreams are made and memories are created. I’ve been fortunate enough to DJ weddings there for years, but let me tell you, their New Year’s Eve party takes the cake.
The festivities kicked off with a delicious dinner served in the restaurant, setting the stage for an unforgettable night ahead. As the clock struck 10 PM, the party shifted into high gear as everyone made their way into the ballroom, ready to dance the night away.
Now, let’s talk about the setup. We pulled out all the stops for this one, folks. We’re talkin’ a photo booth, lighting that lit up the room like a disco inferno, smoke machines adding an extra touch of drama, and video screens simulcasting the iconic Times Square ball drop, right here in Darien.
But that’s not all—we also brought along some live percussion to keep the beat pumping all night long. And let me tell you, the energy in that room was electric.
As the music filled the air, guests of all ages hit the dance floor, grooving to a mix of tunes tailored to please every crowd. From classic hits to current favorites, we made sure there was something for everyone to enjoy.
