Last night, I had the pleasure of DJing a fantastic wedding at the beautiful Marina Del Rey in the Bronx. This stunning venue, with its breathtaking waterfront views and elegant setting, was the perfect backdrop for Vanessa and Francis’ big day. From the moment I first spoke to them, I knew their wedding was going to be a blast. They are such a fun and happy couple, and their energy was contagious!
A Ceremony Filled with Cheers
Filipino weddings are always a lot of fun, and this one was no exception! As the wedding party walked down the aisle during the ceremony, the entire crowd erupted in cheers. That was my first sign that this wedding was going to be one for the record books!
After Vanessa and Francis were pronounced husband and wife, they danced back down the aisle with their entire wedding party to the song “Forever” by Chris Brown. The joy and excitement in the room was amazing!
Cocktail Hour Highlights: A Photo Booth Robot
During the cocktail hour, guests were treated to a fun surprise—a photo booth robot making its rounds, capturing candid moments with everyone. The guests loved it! This unique touch added an extra element of fun and excitement to the evening.
An Unforgettable First Dance
Before the guests entered the main ballroom, Vanessa and Francis took a few moments to practice their first dance. Even during their practice, they were having a blast, laughing and smiling the whole time. When it was time to do it for real, after they were introduced as husband and wife, they nailed it! The crowd’s happiness and support were palpable, and it was a joy to witness.
Dancing the Night Away
After the first dance and heartfelt speeches, it was time to get the party started. Neil, a family friend and dance instructor, led the charge on the dance floor. He was up front for most of the night, guiding the guests with some great dance moves. The dance floor was packed the entire night, and time seemed to fly by.
A Fun-Filled Finale
The guests had so much fun that they stayed until the very end, enjoying every moment in the photo booth and on the dance floor. We even managed to sneak in a few extra songs after the scheduled end time—shhh, don’t tell anyone!
A Personal Note
Entertaining and motivating people is what we do best, and every crowd is different. When the crowd is as fun and lively as this one, it motivates us back! Being a DJ and MC for the majority of my life, I can’t imagine doing anything else. I truly love seeing people happy and making their special day unforgettable.
Vanessa and Francis, thank you for letting me be a part of your incredible celebration. Your wedding was truly a night to remember!
